The Life of a Buddhist Monk

Each and every one of the men who enter Buddhism has his own reason - it may be to get rid of the stresses of life or becoming "one" with nature and with themselves.

Their daily routine revolves around getting up around 4:30a.m. to bathe, meditate for an hour, then help those in need from the surrounding villages. For the afternoon sessions, after they finish eating, the monks generally go to the senior monk to ask questions and be given advice from him.

Truthfully, I believe this is a wonderful and peaceful way of life. I also believe that it takes a person with significant patience to become a true Buddhist and based on the research I found, they are able to live a long, fulfilling life helping people in one of the best ways possible.
